Development of specific skis for demanding or
expert skiers is a long process. Skis Lacroix’s
goal is to offer products that are genuinely highend, specific, in a class of their own… Similar
to an haute couture house, where attention
is focused on every detail, where exception is
finally the rule.Skis Lacroix’s manufacturing combines art and craftsmanship. Each component (titanium, titanal, Kevlar, rare wood veneer…) is rigorously selected. We pay special attention to every step of the process, taking care of every detail: manual assembly and finishing, use of pre-polymerized fibres to obtain lighter and more resilient skis, elaboration of variable density cores (V.I.C. System).
Ultime: made to measure. The manufacturing process of the Ultime combines high precision tooling and engineering with high-end marquetry. Rare woods are associated with a titanal sheet which has been previously machined and polished to
receive the wood veneers. The wood is then skilfully and meticulously cut and fitted-in by Michel Molino, a renowned marquetry expert.
